Volunteer with us
The Edinburgh Bike Station has a team of around 50 volunteers – we couldn’t fulfil our mission to help people get cycling and recycle bikes without them.
Volunteers do a wide range of things – some help run the shop; give advice at Fix Your Own Bike sessions; trip useful parts from donated bikes that are beyond repair; sort, save and stock the salvaged parts; pick up donated bikes from people who aren’t able to deliver them; help out at events; help in the office – and a lot more!
If you can spare a few hours a week, a day a week, or even more time, please download an application form, fill it out and return it to us. The form has some more information about what volunteering involves. You can email the from to us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or post it to us at Volunteering,The Bike Station, 250 Causewayside, Edinburgh EH9 1UU. Or just drop it in next time you come by!
We can’t guarantee a volunteer position, but we will do our best to match you to a suitable opportunity.
The small print: Volunteers must be aged 16 or over. At the moment we’re afraid we can’t offer work experience or one-off placements.
