Cycle Friendly Employer Award

The Edinburgh Bike Station is proud to support Cycling Scotland as an accredited service centre for the nationally recognised Cycle Friendly Employer Award.

The award supports businesses and organisations who wish to encourage cycling as a healthy, sustainable and accessible way to travel to work.

Employers will benefit from guidance, resources and one-to-one support to enable an increase in staff cycle rates.

Employers registered in the process will also have access to a Development Fund which can be used to improve cycle facilities or purchase cycling equipment such as pool bikes. To apply for the funding, workplaces must be able to demonstrate how the grant will help overcome barriers towards achieving the award criteria.
