Edinburgh Maintenance Classes

Do you want to know more about your bike and learn some tricks and tips on how to keep it in peak condition? Are you keen to get your hands dirty and find out how to fix a puncture or find out how to make everyday adjustments to your bike?

We can help! Come along to a maintenance course at The Bike Station where our professional mechanics will help you learn in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We can give you the skills you need to keep your bike on the road and avoid steep repair bills.

Please note, as it’s a hands on course you might get dirty, so don’t wear your best dress or suit!

You will learn on your own bike – so you will learn how to fix your bike. However if you don’t have a bike you can bring along, just let us know in advance and we will make sure you have a bike to learn on. If you have a specialist bike (e.g. a folding bike like a Brompton, or disk brakes) please let us know when booking.

The course is divided into two two-hour  parts. Each session  covers different aspects of basic maintenance. You don’t have to book both sessions: you can choose what suits your needs and skill level.

Participants can also buy new tools and accessories on the night with a 10% discount.

Book your place

To book, just phone 07928 483 194 (Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm) or email us at info@thebikestation.org.uk. Places are limited to six per class.
