Fix your Bike
To help protect the health of everyone in our community we are temporarily changing the way we run The Bike Station. As a part of our Covid-19 contingency plan we have postponed our regular FYOB sessions until further notice.
We have handwashing facilities and handsanitiser on site that we’ll be asking you to use when you come in. Please respect the UK and Scottish governments guidance and stay at home if you are displaying any symptoms in order to protect our more vulnerable customers. As long as we respect the social distancing and hygiene rules we can stay #safe and #prevent unnecessary spread.
Most importantly, please do not come to workshops, or pick up tools if you are feeling unwell at all.
Please note those under sixteen years old must be accompanied by an adult.
It’s a fact of life that bikes require maintenance to keep them running smoothly. The good news is it doesn’t have to be hard, and you don’t even need to do it yourself if you don’t want to!
We have a range of services to keep you bike performing top notch and safe to ride:
Our repair services cover any repair/adjustment to your cycle, from installing a new innertube to a complete bike build.
As part of our work promoting cycling, we want to give you the knowledge, tools and support to fix your own bike. We won’t do it for you, but we’ll guide you through the process. Fix your own bike runs Monday – Friday 10:30-16:30 (last entry 16:00), and Saturday 13:00-16:30 (last entry 16:00).
With the summer nights approaching fast we are now opening Wednesday Evening’s 17:00 till 20:00 (last entry 19:oo) for all you fix your own needs
Finally, if you’ve got a group of people then let us bring our workshop to you! If your workplace or organisation has a group of cyclist our Dr Bike service can come to you to check over your cycles. Get in touch to discuss your Dr Bike needs.
