We started because we believe everyone should have the same opportunity to enjoy the freedom of 2-wheels.
We are still going because our impact is recognised and supported by our supporters, funders, partners, and volunteers who share our beliefs.

Donate A Bike
We accept the good, bad, and even the ugly, any bikes or bike parts and accessories are acceptable. Just drop off at one of the following branches:

Our mechanics evaluate each bike donated. Some bikes are refurbished, while others are used for parts. So, either way, your bike avoids the landfill and supports a sustainable circular economy.
Cash Donation​

Cash donations support our community operations through our partners in areas such as Autism Support, Womens Aid, Homelessness, Asylum Seekers, Underpaid Carers and many more.

£5 covers minor repair to ensure someones pedals turning.
​
£20 will contribute to equipment to ensure safety of a rider.
​
£60 will contribute to a complete bike to start someone on their journey.
Volunteer Your Time
The Bike Station has a team of around 40 fantastic volunteers – we could only fulfil our mission to help people get cycling and recycle bikes with their support.
If you or the people you work with are interested in volunteering with us, we have lots of ways for you to get involved. We can also support with Duke of Edinburgh and Saltire Awards opportunities.
